Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose and his younger brother, Isaac tackled each other after an attack on the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar.

Isaac Fayose in a Facebook post said he would not be voting for Atiku because Northerners are only interested in rearing their cattle rather than running an administration.

Isaac Fayose advised Nigerians against supporting politicians who had oppressed the masses while in power and lie about wanting to unify the country.

Reacting, Fayose in a post on Twitter said such comments about Atiku are sad and undeserving.

Ayodele Fayose further disassociated himself from the comment, stating that his brother is on his own m, urging the public to ignore him.

He wrote: “Mr Isaac Fayose’s comments on Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is sad and undeserving. I seriously disassociate myself from such comments and make bold to say that he is on his own. His motive and reasons for such I can’t rationalize.

“Most importantly, sharing the same surname does not imply my complicity in his sad narrative. What God has made of Atiku Abubakar positively, no man can unmake. I enjoin the public to ignore him.”

Responding, Isaac Fayose said his brother is disassociating himself from his comments because it was not in his favour.

Isaac Fayose added that he is old enough to have his opinion on issues,  adding that the ex-governor didn’t feed him or gave him a contract during his tenure for eight years.

    He wrote: Dear Brother,

“I am surprised that you dissociated yourself from my comments about power shift to the south because of your political affiliation with the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

“But I wondered why you did not dissociate yourself from my comments concerning Seyi Makinde and Dino Melaye all because it was in your favor.

“Sir, blood ties goes way beyond polities and I think am old enough to have my own opinions on issues.

“Abubakar Bukola Saraki is in PDP. Senator Gbemi Saraki in APC.

“Nobody dey disown each other. But my own brother disowned me yesterday because I said I won’t vote Atiku Abubakar.

“Forgetting he doesn’t feed me or give me contract for his 8 years in Ekiti.

“I made my billions on the street. I own myself brother. I wish you well in you future endeavors and I still remain you brother.”
