    Who Will Suspend Me? Wike Dares PDP On National Television

    The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has boasted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) does not have the capability to suspend him from the party.

    He made the boast on Friday during a live interview with journalists at the government house in Port Harcourt, the state capital

    Questioned during the interview if some of his actions and demands won’t be termed by the PDP leadership as anti-party activities, Wike responded that he can’t be suspended.

    Though he was quick to clarify that he is not claiming to be bigger than the party, the Rivers State Governor insisted that he can’t be suspended.

    He said; “Who will suspend me? Which party? I am not saying that I am bigger than the party, but nobody can suspend me from the party.

    “I’m not saying I’m bigger than the party but those who ran away from the party cannot suspend me from the party. I beg them, today, today, they should come and suspend me. Anything they see, they will take.

    “I dare them today, the NEC, and say this person is now suspended from the party. They know what I will do. Pikin wey no want make him mama sleep, him go sleep?”

    I Remain Committed To PDP Candidate

    In other news, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has insisted that despite the disagreement with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), he would support the candidate of his party, Atiku Abubakar.

    Governor Wike made the declaration despite the current face-off between his camp and the PDP during a live media chat with journalists on Friday at the Government House In Port Harcourt.

    Asked directly which presidential candidate he feels should lead the country in 2023, Wike replied that he remains in PDP and his allegiance remains with his party and its candidate.

    He pointed out that he can’t be in the PDP and be campaigning for the candidate of another political party.
