The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Tuesday night, met with governors elected on the platform of the party at his campaign office, Abuja.
Naija News gathered that the meeting had in attendance Speakers of the house of assembly in states governed by the APC.
The former governor of Lagos State met with the Governors and Speakers to strategise on how the ruling party will maintain power at the end of President Muhammadu Buhari’s tenure in 2023.
With Tinubu contesting against the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, who has a large fellowship and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, who has the support of the youth, he (Tinubu) would need all hands on deck to emerge victorious.
Tinubu’s meeting with the stakeholders is coming after he met with the former president, Goodluck Jonathan at his residence.
The presidential candidate met with Jonathan to seek his support ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Tinubu a few days ago also met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State to seek his support.
However, as it stands, Obasanjo seems to be on the side of the LP presidential candidate, Obi.
