The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday night, met with some governors elected on the platform of the ruling party.
Tinubu’s meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum is coming shortly after he met with former President, Olusegun Obasanjo in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The former Governor of Lagos State had met with Obasanjo to solicit for support ahead of the 2023 general election.
Tinubu, while giving reason for visiting Ogun State, noted that he was in the state to appreciate members of the ruling party for their support.
The Presidential candidate, who spoke at the MKO Abiola stadium, further stated that it is not time to campaign for the 2023 general elections.
Naija News gathered that Tinubu met with the APC Governors after addressing the party supporters at the MKO Abiola stadium.
Those in attendance include, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola.
Others in the meeting are the Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and others.
