The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister of State, Ramatu Aliyu, has boasted that Nigerian youths will throw their support behind presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Minister who spoke yesterday in Abuja while receiving a former National Youth leader of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Paul Ogudu, into the APC, said youths have awakened to the reality that Tinubu is the best candidate to vote for in the forthcoming election.

According to her, the defection of Ogudu confirmed the strength of the ruling platform ahead of the 2023 elections.

The Minister further preached that every political party has two legs; the youths and women and that one of them has joined the APC youth fold.

She said: “A single decision of a youth in this country matters. We said it is youth O’clock, youths have awakened to their responsibility. They have embraced APC in totality.”

While bragging that Tinubu will emerge victorious next February, the minister advised citizens who want the best for young Nigerians to come on board and urged Ogudu to encourage other youths to toe his path.

“I thank you for making the right decision at the right time. I urge you to use your privileged position to show others the road to victory.

“We believe in continuity and by the special grace of God, our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will be President of Nigeria in 2023″, Aliyu added.

Tinubu Campaign Spokesmen Reveal Why APC Presidential Candidate Is Yet To Do Live Interviews

The lead Spokesperson of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council of the APC, Festus Keyamo, on Monday revealed why his principal is yet to grant any live interview.

Naija News understands that this is coming after a report emerged on social media crediting Tinubu as saying he was not doing live television interviews like his main opponents because he “is contesting for Nigerian President, not Media President.”

Many Nigerians on social media had slammed the former Lagos State Governor over the purported statement, claiming that his alleged ill-health and incapacitation were behind his refusal to grant live interviews.

Speaking to Vanguard on Monday, Keyamo, who is the Minister of State for Employment and Labour, described the report as fake news.

While stating that Tinubu is not shying away from interviews, the Minister added that “campaigns have not started. The Nation will hear from him again and again and again.”
