Back to his club game, every Leicester player who participated in the game received a rating, which the Nigerian international did excellently well for his club.

Before being replaced by Boubakary Soumare before the start of the second half, Ndidi made his eighth appearance for the Foxes and played brilliantly.
One of nine Leicester players that received a rating of seven out of nine was the Super Eagles standout.
The Leicester-based media outlet Leicester Mercury also commented on Ndidi’s performance: ”A welcome return to form for the midfielder, despite him only lasting a half. He made the tackles that have been missing from his game of late, while was very calm on the ball.”
Kelechi Iheanacho, a colleague of Ndidi’s for the Super Eagles, sat on the sidelines as Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis played.
