The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo congratulated the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu following his victory at the presidential primary of the ruling party.
According to Keyamo, President Muhammadu Buhari made it easy for Tinubu to emerge as the presidential candidate of the APC because of his transparent leadership.
Naija News had earlier reported that the former governor of Lagos State on Wednesday won APC’s presidential ticket with a wide margin to defeat the likes of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who came third in the race and former Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi who came second.
Keyamo further stated that the kind of leadership former President Olusegun Obasanjo failed to provide for the Peoples Democratic Party in 2007 is what Buhari provided for the ruling party.
The minister in a post on his Twitter account noted that President did not impose and interfere in APC presidential primary election.
Keyamo wrote, “OBJ are you watching? The kind of leadership OBJ failed to give @OfficialPDPNig in 2007 is what PMB just provided for the world to see: complete transparent process to pick a possible successor; no IMPOSITION; NO INTERFERENCE; who’s the democrat now? Congratulations @officialABAT.”
