The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested former Anambra State Governor Willie Obiano.
Obiano was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
He was said to be on his way to Houston, Texas in the United States.
The EFCC had last November placed Obiano on a watch-list.
The anti-graft agency had requested the Nigeria Immigration Service to inform it anytime the former governor was travelling out of the country from any of the international airports, as well as other points of entry and exit.
