APC Reward System Is Poor – Joe Igbokwe Laments After Release Of PCC List

    Sep 25, 2022

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe, has said that the party has a poor reward system.

Igbokwe statement is coming after the release of APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) list for the 2023 general elections.

Naija News reports that the council list, which comprises about 400 members, was released on Friday by the PCC Secretary, James Faleke, a federal lawmaker.

Speaking after the list was released, Igbokwe insisted that the APC reward system is nothing to write home about as the party tends to reward persons of questionable characters.

In a post on Facebook, Igbokwe wrote, “All things considered APC Nigeria poor reward system in Nigeria worries me to the marrows.

“The party rewards idle people, hangers-on, layabouts, interlopers, cowards, onlookers etc.”

The likes of Femi Fani Kayode, who defected to the APC last year and Senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District, Chimaroke Nnamani, who is a member of the PDP, made the list.

Peter Obi Sends Message To Nigerian Youths Ahead Of 2023 Election

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has advised Nigerian youths to vote for qualified, competent, and trustworthy candidates at the federal and state levels during the 2023 general elections.

Naija News reports that the former Governor of Anambra State gave the advice on Saturday while addressing a press conference in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.

He asked Nigerians, especially the youths, to see the 2023 elections as an opportunity to take back their country and more importantly shun every form of primordial sentiments.

The LP Presidential candidate noted that the new administration taking office in 2023 would face a lot of challenges provoked by cumulative leadership failures over the years.

Obi said that these challenges have threatened national unity, social cohesion, and citizens’ trust in the government and impeded the country’s economic outcomes.
