The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has delivered appointment letters to the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, and the wife of the presidential candidate, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to lead the party’s women campaign team.
Naija News gathered that the council delivered the letter privately to the wife of the President at the State House in Abuja, while Senator Tinubu received her letter at her home in Abuja on Monday.
A source told the Punch that the council also sent the wife of the vice presidential candidate, Nana Shettima, her appointment letter yesterday.
The source added that many other women elected to the council were at the campaign office in Abuja to pick up their appointment letters.
He said, “You cannot expect the First Lady as well as Senator Oluremi and Nana Shettima to come to the campaign office to pick their letters. It has to be delivered to them privately.
“But many other members of the campaign team were here today to pick their letters.”
