The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Monday, held a meeting with his loyalists in Lagos State.
Tinubu took to his Twitter account to share pictures from the meeting, he, however, did not reveal the details of the meeting.
The presidential candidate is meeting with his loyalist a few weeks before the official commencement of campaigns ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, alongside the senator representing the Lagos West senatorial district but has the intention of representing the Ogun west senatorial district in 2023, Solomon Adeola, was also at the meeting.
Tinubu’s meeting with his loyalist could have been the reason for his absence from the general conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Lagos State on Monday.
The former Governor of Lagos State was represented by the vice presidential candidate of the APC, Kashim Shettima.
The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and the flag bearer of the Labour Party, Peter Obi were in attendance at the NBA conference.
