The Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva has joined the race for the highest political seat in the country.
Sylva on Monday obtained the nomination and expression of interest forms of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja.
The Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade on Monday also purchased the nomination and expression of interest forms of the ruling party.
The minister and Governor purchased the forms ahead of the deadline for the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms of the APC.
Several aspirants under the ruling party stormed the International Conference Centre, Abuja, on Monday to obtain their forms at the last minute.
Naija News had earlier reported that the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan on Monday also picked his form.
Lawan joined the long list of presidential aspirants under the ruling party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The Senate President becomes the 24th presidential aspirant to pick the N100m APC expression of interest and nomination forms.
They all would be hoping to clinch the presidential ticket of the party ahead of other presidential aspirants on the 30th of May.
